Dick Clarke is the founder and CEO of Good Harbor Cyber Security Risk Management, and is an advisor to leaders in the public and private sectors on all issues of cyber-security and crisis management. Clarke served in the White House for an unprecedented ten years as Special Advisor to the President on Cyber Security, serving under President George H.W. Bush, President Bill Clinton, and President George W. Bush. In this role, Clarke also advised on counter-terrorism and other national security issues, and served on the National Security Council for ten years. In his role as the nation’s “Cyber-Czar,” Clarke developed the country’s first National Strategy to Defend Cyberspace.
LTG Robert P. Ashley, Jr.

Lieutenant General Robert P. Ashley, Jr. became the 21st Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency on 3 October 2017. He formerly served as the Army Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2, where he was the senior advisor to the Secretary of the Army and Army Chief of Staff for all aspects of intelligence, counterintelligence and security.
Lieutenant General Ashley is a career army military intelligence officer with assignments in Fort Bragg, NC, Washington, DC, Fort Gordon, GA, MacDill Air Force Base, FL, Izmir, Turkey, and deployments to Operation JOINT FORGE, Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Iraq, and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Afghanistan.
He has commanded at the company, battalion, squadron, and brigade levels with combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan as a squadron, brigade commander, and J-2. His commands include the 206th Military Intelligence Battalion, Fort Gordon, GA, Intelligence Squadron, Office of Military Support, Washington, DC, and the 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade (Airborne), XVIII Airborne Corps.

Michael Daniel

Michael Daniel currently serves as the President & CEO of the Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA). CTA works to improve the cybersecurity of our global digital ecosystem by enabling real-time, high-quality cyber threat information sharing among companies and organizations in the cybersecurity field. Prior to joining the CTA in February 2017, Michael served from June 2012 to January 2017 as Special Assistant to President Obama and Cybersecurity Coordinator on the National Security Council Staff. In this role, Michael led the development of national cybersecurity strategy and policy and ensured that the US government effectively partnered with the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and other nations. Earlier in his career, Michael worked for the Office of Management and Budget from 1995 to 2012, overseeing the budgets for the U.S. Intelligence Community and other national security programs. He served as one the principal parties to set up the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) after 9/11, and worked at the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the 1990s on developing DoD doctrine and capabilities design and development for Network Centric Warfare, Information Operations and Cyberwar programs. Jim Hunt

James (Jim) Hunt is a seasoned technology and investment professional with a principle focus on companies with technologies that can have a positive impact on the national security sector markets.
Hunt began his career in Washington in the mid 70’s as a U.S. Government scientist. After eight years with the government, Hunt founded “BDS, Incorporated” where he served as CEO for ten years. In 1991, BDS was merged with BTG, Incorporated and Hunt assisted in the integration of the two companies. In 1992, BTG was taken public in a successful offering. Beside the BTG CEO, Hunt was the only other company employee on the BTG board of directors and the second largest shareholder in BTG.
Subsequent to his tenure at BDS/BTG, Hunt went to Price Waterhouse where he started and ran the firm’s system integration practice. After two years as PW, Hunt was recruited away with 17 PW colleagues and founded “Ernst & Young Technologies” (EYT), where he was CEO for eight years. EYT was subsequently sold to Cap Gemini and Hunt served as President of Cap Gemini Technologies for two years, leaving Cap Gemini in 2006.
After leaving Cap Gemini Technologies, with two colleagues, Hunt founded “The MITA Group” a Washington-based consultancy focused on public affairs and business strategy.
From MITA, Hunt moved with some former MITA colleagues and other executives to create “NextFED”, a strategy consultancy with investment banking and corporate clients. NextFED’s primary area of focus is the national security and intelligence community markets. As a Managing Partner of NEXTFED, Hunt leads a strategic acquisition, commercialization, and growth acceleration strategy consulting practice. Hunt is the co-founder of NextFED with Joanne Isham, a retired senior executive from the USG Intelligence Community. Among other positions, Ms. Isham led Congressional Affairs at CIA, was head of Science and Technology at CIA and served as the principle deputy director the National Geospatial Agency.
Mr. Hunt began his angel investing activities in the mid 1990’s after the successful BTG IPO, with five investments in area companies. After over 25 years of seed stage investing, Hunt expanded his portfolio since the early 2000’s to the present with 100 early stage investment. Hunt has eight co-investments with In-Q-Tel, the US Intelligence Community’s venture capital arm. Hunt sits on five corporate boards. Hunt has exited 27 investments over the past ten years, the last of which was February 2018..
Hunt’s investments are in the area of cyber and physical security, Internet-of-Things, data center management, social media, analytics, and mobile applications.
As an active member of multiple angel groups and managing partner of “Lavrock Ventures”, a recently formed early stage venture capital firm, Hunt spends a significant amount of his time scouting for world-class, game changing technology.
In addition to his investing activities, Hunt serves as a consultant to both government and corporate organizations in the area of overall strategy, product commercialization, channel strategies and M&A strategies.
Hunt has been an Adjunct Professor at the McDonough School at Georgetown for the past 17 years as well as at Notre Dame and teaches cornerstone courses in business planning and start-up business management and investing. Hunt has also created and taught courses to international angels and entrepreneurs and has successfully launched four overseas ventures in the past ten years, with particular emphasis on technology incubation in developing countries.

Prior to joining SCV, Chris attended Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, graduating with his Masters of Business Administration in 2017. Simone Petrella is Chief Cybersecurity Officer at CyberVista, where she leads product development and delivery of cybersecurity training and education curriculums as well as workforce initiatives for executives, cyber practitioners, and continuing education. Previously, Simone was a Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton where she helped build the firm's cybersecurity practice in the commercial sector focusing on the creation of cyber fusion centers and the integration of cyber threat intelligence, security operations, and cyber defense operations into effective cyber security operations. She ensures that her clients’ communications comply with current marketing and privacy laws and regulations. For clients who have embraced the popularity of online promotions, sweepstakes, contests, and gamification, Michelle keeps programs running smoothly by providing guidance on the necessary rules, thresholds, and disclosures in the midst of a constantly changing legal landscape. She also leads Ifrah Law’s special GDPR Services, guiding companies which collect, store, or mine the personal data of European residents on compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation. He holds an MBA in Finance with Distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters of Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics/Engineering from Loyola University in Maryland.

Ron started his cybersecurity career as a network penetration tester for the NSA. At BBN, he developed network honeypots to lure hackers and he ran US Internetworking's team of penetration testers and incident responders. As CTO of Network Security Wizards, Ron pioneered the art of network security monitoring and produced the Dragon Intrusion Detection System which was recognized as a market leader by Gartner in 2001. As CEO and co-founder of Tenable Network Security, Ron led the company's rapid growth and product vision from 2002 through 2016. He helped them scale to more than 20,000 customers worldwide, raise $300m in venture capital and achieve revenues in excess of $100m annually. Ron is President at Gula Tech Adventures which focuses on investing and advisement of two dozen cyber-security companies. Ron was honored and humbled to receive the 2017 Betamore BETA award, be named a 2016 Baltimore Tech 10 leader and a 2013 Maryland entrepreneur of the year by Ernest and Young.
